1. Purpose

The SmartDoc platform includes:
- Managing and viewing documents
- Connecting users with professionals
- Managing appointments or interactions
SmartDoc is not an emergency service.
2. Definitions
- User: anyone accessing the platform
- User account: a secure personal space
- Services: features provided by SmartDoc
- Personal data: information that identifies a user
3. Account creation
Access to some services requires an account.
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep their information up to date
- Not impersonate another person
SmartDoc may suspend an account if incorrect information is provided.
4. Access to services
Some services are available without an account; others require registration.
Using the platform implies acceptance of these Terms of Use.
SmartDoc may:
- Change its services
- Suspend access for a breach of these terms
- Temporarily interrupt services for maintenance or technical reasons
5. Security and access
Users are responsible for keeping their login details confidential.
Any use of an account is presumed to be by its holder.
Users must immediately inform SmartDoc of a security issue.
6. SmartDoc obligations
SmartDoc undertakes to:
- Provide a functioning service within its technical resources

- Maintain service availability as far as possible
SmartDoc is subject to an obligation of reasonable efforts only.
7. Communications (SMS / Email)
Users agree to receive:
- Notifications about their activity
- Confirmations and reminders
- Information about the services
Users may opt out of certain communications under the applicable procedures.
8. User obligations
Users agree to:
- Comply with applicable law
- Use the services responsibly
- Not harm the platform or its users
- Not attempt unauthorized access
Users remain responsible for their equipment and internet connection.
9. Platform features
SmartDoc provides, among other features:
a. Viewing and managing data
Access, organize and use information.
b. Interactions and appointments (where applicable)
Schedule and manage interactions or services.
SmartDoc does not guarantee that the available information is complete.
10. Liability
SmartDoc cannot be held responsible for:
- Service interruptions
- External technical problems
- Actions or decisions of users or partners
11. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with SmartDoc’s Privacy Policy.
12. Cookies
Cookie use is described in the dedicated policy.
13. Termination
Users may delete their account at any time.
SmartDoc may suspend or delete an account in cases of:
- Breach of the Terms of Use
- Fraudulent or abusive use
Deletion results in loss of access to the services.
14. Intellectual property
All elements of the SmartDoc platform are protected.
Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.
15. Applicable law
These Terms of Use are governed by Tunisian law.
In a dispute, an amicable resolution will be preferred before legal action.
16. Changes to the terms
SmartDoc reserves the right to change these Terms of Use at any time.
